Naturopathic medicine is grounded on the basic principal of encouraging the body to recover health by applying its own healing strengths and integrity, using natural remedies to re-nurture one’s own vital forces.

In Naturopathy, several well proven and effective methods can be used in conjunction with the needs of the patient. One of the most important representatives of Naturopathy in the twentieth century has been Bernard Jensen (1908 – 2001), who developed an integral and holistic concept of health. He took into account nutrition, body movement, contact with clean air and water and the correction of unhealthy ways of eating and living.

“Nature has been here a very long time. The earth is nature, the sky is nature, water is nature. All our resources, everything with which we built something in our bodies or in our environment comes from nature. And nature always has the remedy”

Bernard Jensen

Naturopathy follows the teachings of the founder of medicine, Hippocrates SV B.C. who taught us that the art of healing is inspired by nature. He signalled the vital importance and benefits of the power of nutritional healing in his well-known quote:

“Let your food be your medicine and let your medicine be your food”

Bernhard Aschner (1883-1960) Austrian doctor and follower of proven natural principles, actualized and systematized the Humoral- treatments with the application of cups. These techniques were already known in China and India for 3500 years, and in Egypt around 2200 BC and afterwards from Hippocrates, Galen and Avicenna among other well-known doctors.
